L’ A G E N C E GIVES

Giving back is one of L’ A G E N C E core values and is part of our company culture. We are passionate about supporting the many organizations and nonprofits working hard to make our world a better place. We are committed to making a difference in our local communities by volunteering, supporting start-up businesses, donating money and ultimately, improving people’s lives, through their home community. Get to know some of the causes we support and consider standing with us as we give back to the community.

L’ A G E N C E is a proud sponsor of the following organizations:

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®:

With every commission check, L’ AGENCE Realtors make a donation to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Since 1992, RE/MAX agents have helped Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® support millions of kids each year who are treated at member hospitals throughout North America. Our donations stay local, which means RE/MAX agents who participate in the Miracle Home Program are helping kids in their own neighborhoods receive the best care possible.

Browns Valley School:

Located on the west side of the town of Napa, Browns Valley School, is one of the 18 public elementary schools in the Napa Valley Unified District (NVUSD). As parents and community members, we love to volunteer our time, donate money, and sponsor events to improve the education and growth of the students. Florence Ropelewski and L’ AGENCE Napa Valley have been active sponsors of BVS and the Family Club since Florence’s oldest son, Adam, entered Kindergarten in 2019.

Napa Moms:

Napa Moms is a non-profit organization designed for working and stay-at-home mothers of children living in the Napa Valley. The mission of Napa Moms is to enhance the lives of mothers in the Napa Valley by providing valuable community resources and fostering a supportive community for mothers to share experiences and develop friendships for a healthy life balance. Florence has been on the board of Napa Moms since 2018 and currently serves as the Director of Sponsorship.

French – American Chamber of Commerce San Francisco:

Member of the organization since March 2023. Established in 1978, the French-American Chamber of Commerce in San Francisco (FACCSF) is part of a network of 18 French-American Chambers in the United States, and belongs to a worldwide network of 125 French Chambers (CCIFI) in 95 countries with over 33,000 companies. One of the most active Chambers in the United States, the FACCSF is a non-profit, non- governmental and member-driven organization. FACCSF’s mission consists in connecting, promoting and bringing together a strong business network of companies and boosting their development in San Francisco and in the Bay area.

Community projects:

At L’ AGENCE, our mission is (and has always been) to improve people’s lives through their home. The concept of home goes beyond four walls and one roof. It applies to our town, our community. One way we can improve our home is by keeping it clean. Earth Day was founded in 1970 as a day of education about environmental issues. L’ AGENCE is committed to confronting the climate crisis and promoting green living. On April 23rd, 2023, L’ AGENCE joined forces with Napa County Resource Conservation District to lead one of their 9 community cleanups happening in Napa and Yountville. Our site was Downtown Napa, around the library. We had over 70+ volunteers join us during the cleanup, including past and current clients, family and friends of all ages!

This project was inspired by Florence’s oldest son, Adam, who is a nature lover. Our family loves going to the beach and would always commit an hour or two to cleaning up the beach, picking up plastic and other trash to “save the marine life.” They started adopting this activity while on vacation and even back home, while on hikes. Realizing the impact of group and compound efforts, the Ropelewski family started organizing cleanup days with friends and families in Napa.
  • Placencia Donation Drive

Over the years, the Ropelewskis have enjoyed traveling to Belize, more specifically to Placencia. Placencia is a small peninsula measuring about 1 mile across and 16 miles north and south attached to the southeastern corner of Stann Creek District in southeastern Belize. Placencia is approximately 160 miles (by land) south of Belize City and 33 miles south of Dangriga, the capital of Stann Creek District.  With the help of the resort we stay at, Turtle Inn, we participate in community service projects, such as delivering donation items to deserving schools, organizations and villages, or cleaning up the beach and other nature areas.
